WACCL CHILDREN OF ACHIEVEMENT 2018
23rd June 2018 saw the second, annual WACCL Children of Achievement Awards held at the Cedar Court Hotel Wakefield. We have now been involved with WACCL for the past 2 years. WACCL (Wakefield Annual Charity Christmas Lunch) raises money for various charities across the Wakefield district.
We are proud supporters of WACCL and enjoy being able to give something back to young people in our hometown. With a little help from our friends at Event Light & Sound and Media Displays, we provided full event production including audio, visual, lighting, set and stage along with the pre-production of the winners VT’s.
Our team took an empty room an converted it into a full scale awards ceremony complete with a Hollywood entrance area and red carpet.

The evening saw performances from the Wakefield Theatre Royal Performance Academy and Wakefield’s own Skinny Living. X Factor’s Holly Tandy was due to perform but unfortunately wasn’t able to due to ill health, despite this Holly still managed to attend and celebrate the success of these young people.
Overall 10 winners were called to the stage to receive an award for achievements in caring, sports, bravery and much more.
