At the start of November 2022, we were asked to work on an exciting project that involved lighting a number of Lamborghini cars & the building for a VIP event to celebrate 3 years of the Lamborghini Leeds dealership being open.
Following an initial site visit, we put a proposal together for our client. Our creative team came up with a variety of ideas that were put forward to the marketing manager at the dealership and we settled on a final specification. We were to illuminate specific aspects of the cars with key lighting along with under lighting the vehicles in colours complimenting either the bodywork or particular parts, such as brake callipers or interior features.
We had a number of different cars to work with such as the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder EVO, where we matched the under light colour to the brake callipers, and the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, pictured above, where we matched the lighting to the bodywork – really making the car glow.
We weren’t just there for a birthday party though…
Hidden Extras…
We had the privilege of working on the first Lamborghini Urus Performante in the UK and this was the highlight of the evening – the unveiling of the new model of Urus to Leeds’ VIP guests.
Along with lighting up cars inside the showroom, we were also tasked with illuminating both internal and external areas of the dealership – this included the Italian flag on the showroom entrance.
Using a variety of lighting options we were able to project the Italian flag onto the showroom entrance & workshop entrance, along with the Lamborghini yellow going around the outside of the building. The colour scheme was carried on into the interior with the Italian flag being projected again onto an internal area. Finally, we provided subtle, key lighting to light up the cars that were on the ramps as a finishing touch.
It was a real pleasure working with the team at Lamborghini Leeds and we had some incredible feedback from both the dealership management & Lamborghini UK.
